Capturing the cool kids and cute dogs of Athens

What’s going on when it comes to fashion on the streets of Athens? This is the question photographer Laura Schaeffer set out to answer when on holiday in the Greek capital last month. Packing up her camera and heading out into the warm spring air, the Berlin native captured the city’s cool kids, with her shots all featured in the gallery above.

With cute dogs and chic couples all in the mix, the overarching Athens feel is louche and relaxed. Wide-legged, floor-trailing jeans are balanced out with skimpy vests, or otherwise matched with offbeat logo tees, while barely-there halter-tops sit above utilitarian micro-minis and denim shorts.
