Think again. On Monday night we took you through the best the red carpet had to offer – from Dua Lipa and Ice Spice, to Cardi B and RiRi – but now we’re going behind the velvet rope at the afterparty, held at The Standard’s panoramic Boom Boom Room. Hosted by Janelle Monae, with Kaytranada behind the decks and Billie Eilish, Jenna Ortega, Olivia Rodrigo, OG NY club kid Amanda Lepore, and a somehow completely de-crystallised Lil Nas X all jostling for a space on the dancefloor (probably) – and Dazed’s party photographer-at-large Andrew Tess was right there in the thick of it, Polaroid in hand, to capture it all on film. “You couldn’t turn a corner without bumping into someone major,” Tess said of the night. “Karl [Lagerfeld]’s signature flowers were omnipresent, espresso martinis were flowing, and the door was insane. But inside it felt like a little soirée with old friends.” Click through the gallery above to see who he spotted.
