After throwing open the doors to its first Italian store in Milan earlier this year, the label is now giving German hypebeasts cause for celebration by opening a new space slap bang on the border between Berlin’s Mitte and Prenzlauer Berg districts – just down the road from Soho House and round the corner from the city’s Sneakersnstuff outpost. The opening follows last week’s announcement of a collab between Supreme and legendary legacy jeweller Tiffany & Co. Getting its debut via a hazy, lo-fi film in which Supreme skater Sean Pablo is seen wearing a pearl necklace strung with Tiffany’s signature oval logo plaque, unsurprisingly, fans on social media lost their shit. Other rumoured fruits of the surprising link-up include a dual-branded pocket knife and a reimagined box logo tee. Back in October, meanwhile, the label added to its already wild list of Supreme-ified everyday objects by dropping a branded two kilo firelog – thus giving a whole new meaning to the concept of burning money. “Will sell the ashes of each log I burn to the biggest hypebeast ever,” wrote one fan on Twitter, which seems like a pretty solid idea to us tbh. The Berlin Supreme store opens today (November 11). The only question that remains is: where’s next?
