Dressed in a soft rainbow of coloured fits – a relaxed jewel blue tracksuit, a textured pastel pink pullover, and soft yellow trousers – he explores the French metropolis, the iconic Lacoste logo proudly peeking out on the emblazoned boxer shorts, as he stretches to survey the city at his feet. Bound to Move, a visual produced by Dazed Studio, highlights the dynamic new Lacoste underwear collection for AW21. In the typical relaxed and liberated skater style, the boxer briefs become the outfit focal point. Evan Mock, the Gossip Girl actor, performer, and skateboarder, fronts the film, which explores the concept of being ‘bound’ – both pulling together, and being compelled to do something actionable. Bound to Move celebrates youth’s creative energy percolating in big cities, like Evan, and the marks they make. The Lacoste underwear and looks are showcased in an array of colours and styles, your ultimate, classic wardrobe essentials for life as you wish to mould it. Earlier this month, Lacoste debuted its elevated, sporty SS22 collection at Paris Fashion Week – creative director Louise Trotter shared that it was inspired by people on the streets she would pass on her way to the studio. The collection featured some stellar colour blocking looks, collegiate vibe striped knits, and dynamic fabrics like neoprene and rubber. The French label, founded by tennis titan René Lacoste, was born from the fervour of movement and tenacity of the tennis courts, so its output today continues to champion free movement and wearability, with timeless, classic style. Boxers or briefs, whatever your preference, the iconic logo looms large. Watch the film below, and shop Lacoste Underwear AW21 here Escape the algorithm!
