Since underwear as outerwear has been flying all over the collections, it would have been silly to not to expect the same from Jean Paul Gaultier, the master of lingerie exploitation. It started off with a denim fixation that made dungarees look a treat. Then military looks were offset with corsets and cut-out swimsuits. Sportier influences came about with stripes and monochrome ensembles. The running strand though was of course that iconic conical bra.
