Virgil Abloh wants your help on his latest Nike collaboration

The designer took to Twitter to ask his fans what he should do next with the sportswear label

Having already partnered with Nike in 2017 to create a series of re-worked trainers which took the form of the uber-hyped ‘The Ten’ collectionVirgil Abloh is now asking his fans for help in coming up with ideas for his latest partnership with the sportswear company.

Taking to Twitter, the creative said: “There’s a blank sheet of paper in front of me. What Nike zone should I do next?”

Prompting an avid discussion, fans listed the Nike Ndestrukt and Air Rift (the split-toed shoes featured on our Spring 2020 style prediction list), as pieces they would like to see the designer reimagine.

Abloh also hinted that he is working on his own original design for the footwear company, after one user tweeted: “Imagine if he designed his own shoe for Nike instead of re-doing old models”. Having only re-worked established silhouettes, the designer replied, “this has been in the works, not one of the other, both.”

If you tweeted, stay tuned to see if your recommendation made the cut, and in the meantime revisit the Off-White AW20 show above.
