Taking place in a disused building on outskirts of Milan, the label's presentation took the form of a fully immersive experience, with huge blocks of ice, cavernous, cave-like spaces, and drinks bubbling with dry ice all on the agenda. And then there were the clothes. Models kitted out in Fila’s latest offering of contemporary sportswear were dotted around the venue, with signature puffer jackets, windbreakers, and fluffy white fleeces all embossed with the recognisable F logo, sweaters bearing mountain map-inspired motifs, and ski suits in the Fila palette of red, white and navy blue all on the line-up. In celebration of the heroes of winter sports who have worn Fila in their victories – such as Reinhold Messner, who was wearing blue Fila overalls when he became the first person to summit Mount Everest without supplemental oxygen in 1980 – the label looked back into its archive to inform its latest pieces.
