Peggy Gou wants to see you wearing PJs in the club

The musician has teamed up with YOOX on a collection of nightwear for those who prefer wearing pyjamas all day, every day

Peggy Gou is bringing pyjamas to the streets. The Berlin-based DJ has collaborated with YOOX to launch a capsule collection made up of pyjamas and a kimono to be worn outside – meaning it’s time to pack away those tired M&S jammies ASAP.

“I am not a fan of tight clothes, I want to feel comfortable in my outfits. I have always been a great fan of two-piece pyjamas: I usually love to wear two-piece outfits with matching patterns,” explains Gou of the reasoning behind the offering.

The collection is made up of a luxe black velvet kimono, as well as two sets of two-piece pyjamas that can be mixed and matched to your heart’s content. There’s a bright yellow two-piece covered in doodles, and a black set with yellow piping.

“Even though we call them pyjamas, nobody really wears them like ‘pyjamas’ nowadays!” explains Gou. “It is not a garment to be worn to stay at home: it is an extremely versatile outfit you can wear with sneakers, boots, flat shoes...  And it is perfect for any kind of occasion.”

The collection, she tells us, can be paired up with heels for a party, or worn with trainers for a more casual daytime look. Basically: no need to get dressed for those Sunday morning trips to Berghain, ‘cause Peggy’s got you sorted.

Peggy Gou x YOOX will be available globally starting from mid-December.
