Having previously caught the brand’s attention back in 2013, Brooksy subsequently featured in its Collectors Project series. With a personal collection spanning 20 years and a life-long love of the German sportswear behemoth, Brooksy’s adidas archive will inform the fresh new set streetwear staples, including a sneaker modelled after one of his OG favourites. More broadly, the collection draws on London’s diversity to create a line of city-appropriate clothing, shoes, and accessories, with new iterations of the signature Anton parka and McAdam tracksuit among them. Accompanying the launch of the line is a short film which summises the multicultural hub, in which models don orange and navy Spezial apparel bearing the signature trefoil logo, as they breeze between Victorian terraces and record shops in a slick demonstration of the city’s diverse offering. The adidas Spezial SS19 collection launches on March 1. Watch the campaign video below. Escape the algorithm!
