Craig Green will present his next collection in Florence

The London-based designer is joining the SS19 Pitti Uomo trade show for one season only

With the AW18 womenswear shows over, the next season of collections now won’t be until June with the SS19 menswear shows.

You already have something to look forward to, following the announcement on the Business of Fashion that Craig Green will be heading to Florence to present his next collection. For one season only, the London-based designer will be joining the Pitti Uomo trade show.

“I'm honoured to be invited to show my collection as the guest designer of Pitti, joining the incredible list of designers who have participated previously,” Green said. Among the list of Pitti Uomo alum that Green will be joining are the likes of JW Anderson, Raf Simons, Gosha Rubchinskiy and most recently Undercover and TakahiroMiyashita The Soloist.

Unfortunately, there are no details about what to expect from the show, but if his AW18 offering is anything to go by, it will likely feature sculptural looks created in collaboration with David Curtis-Ring, styled by Dazed’s creative director Robbie Spencer.

The SS19 menswear shows are currently set to kick off in London (sans Green) on June 8, with Pitti Uomo following on June 12.
