Gosha Rubchinskiy continues Russian tour for next show

The designer will show his AW18 collection in Yekaterinburg ahead of the 2018 World Cup

Since returning to Russia from Paris – after a brief interlude in Florence – Gosha Rubchinskiy has been taking his fashion fans on a tour of his homeland.

Following suit from the last two seasons, it doesn’t come as a surprise that Rubchinskiy has chosen another Russian location for his upcoming AW18 show. While AW17 saw him travel to Kaliningrad and then to celebrate Saint Petersburg 90s rave culture for SS18, the next location has been announced as Yekaterinburg.

If you’re not clued up on Russian geography, the city is home to Central Stadium – one of the venues for the 2018 World Cup. While last season saw the designer drop a surprise collaboration with Burberry, the upcoming collection will see Rubchinskiy continue his partnership with adidas Football just six months before the tournament kicks off.

The show is set to take place on January 14, so you won’t have long to wait and see what the show will hold.
