Having opened the designer’s AW16 runway show, former Crystal Castles frontwoman Alice Glass is back and filmed here attending a party with producer Skrillex and model Alice Metza. Set in a mansion, the trio are joined by more of Wang’s squad including Anna Ewers, Hanne Gaby Odiele and Issy Lish, who dance to a soundtrack created by Skrillex himself. Bringing together a synth star, a big-time producer, a social media It-girl and his runway regulars, the cast reflects Wang’s knack for involving his friends and collaborators in his work, fusing the worlds of fashion and pop culture in the process. The launch of this campaign follows the surprise launch of his adidas collaboration, which was revealed at his SS17 show at New York Fashion Week. This was accompanied by a lookbook shot by Juergen Teller, starring Madonna and Guy Ritchie’s 16-year-old son Rocco Ritchie. Watch the AW16 preview below: Escape the algorithm!
