This season marks a new era for the brand; in a bid to reflect the input of her husband and design partner, the grande dame of British fashion has renamed Gold Label to ‘Andreas Kronthaler for Vivienne Westwood’. While the name may have changed, it’s unlikely to affect the brand identity. Last season’s show was dedicated to saving Venice from global warming, but previous collections have tackled the destruction of gender binaries and the melting of the Arctic ice caps.
