“Say it: Politicians R criminals” – this is the manifesto for Westwood’s upcoming MAN show, as she released a video yesterday explaining why she perceives the government as the enemy. “These criminals cause climate change” she announced, as she detailed the actions of the Transatlantic Trade And Investment Partnership (TTIP) and its plans to “wreck our planet.” Not one to shy away from activism, last season Westwood created a collection dedicated to Prince Charles, with a t-shirt printed with an oil tower to warn against the sapping of the earth’s resources.
