The ever-inventive bods at DC Shoes have joined forces again with SE Bikes to reinvent a classic. The Loop Tail Quad, or SE STR-1 as it was known back in 1979. was built as Stompin' Stu Thompson's signature bike. The redesign includes a larger, 24-inch cruiser frame along with custom DC x SE pads and head badge. It still comes in black, though.

"This bike is an absolute work of art," said DC Co-Founder Damon Way. "A testament to the design brilliance of Scott Briethaupt, and the inventive SE Racing ethos of that time. We are truly honored to have the opportunity to align with SE to deliver a project of this calibre."

The Quadangle is the second in a series of three limited edition bikes - 2007 saw the two brands recreate the PK Ripper - and like the PK Ripper production will be extremely limited: less than five hundred! This bike is beautiful - a true collectors item.
