Willy VanderperreFashion / NewsDior goes upside-down for SS15 campaign with Julia NobisWilly Vanderperre shoots Nobis alongside Lexi Boling and Natalie Westling in a topsy-turvy worldShareLink copied ✔️January 8, 2015FashionNewsTextZing TsjengDior SS15 What's a girl to do when the world turns upside-down on you? That's what Julia Nobis, Lexi Boling and Dazed cover girl Natalie Westling are getting to grips with in the new Dior SS15 campaign, shot by Willy Vanderperre. The three models are starkly pictured sprawled along the margins of the image or perched in a ladylike fashion. The focus of the campaign? The graphic floral overprints that lie across the Dior logo, as well as Raf Simons' new Diorama bag, which appears in all its itinerations: white and black with floral detailing, as well as an all-black version. A statement from Dior reads: "Liberated in their movements and empowered by Raf Simons' designs, the Dior-wearing women from the new spring-summer 2015 ready-to-wear campaign shot by Willy Vanderperre seem just about weightless." "In a pure, futuristic white setting, they embody a new kind of conqueress, exploring the possibilities of space and time, almost defying the laws of gravity." Defying gravity? We think there's a song for that. Check out our show report for Dior SS15 here.
