Initial reaction:

Selman’s early 90s teenagers were country club ready in straw visors and pastel swimwear. The make up also referenced this, the girls glowing with painted-on freckles.

Cat-eyes and cut-outs:

The show was choreographed in an 80s/90s fashion, models sashaying out one at a time, holding their look numbers and smiling. There were different sections of four-model girl cliques. A freckled Mona Matsuoka opened the show wearing black cat-eye glasses, a blue denim style jacket, high-waisted shorts and a t-shirt with pearls sewn into cut-outs around the ribbed neckline.
