Louis Vuitton’s pre-fall collection takes on a deeply tonal autumnal aesthetic, as soft silhouettes and subdued colours consume the luxury brand. Celebrating the forties hourglass figure, the collection focuses on cinched waistlines and detailed tailoring as cropped hemlines at the ankles and wrists reveal old style ladylike allure. Fur pieces including shrugging caplets and lavish jackets also draw on this forties mood, while splashes of fuchsia combine with textures and shapes to add an extra element of glamour.
