Clad in a Brit club culture polo, face streaked with eyeliner, he shares the shoot’s heady, 5am glow with members of the band Coastal Cities, and other models who don’t look like the type to shy from a 24 hour rave. Brogan Loftus – all eyebrows and parted lips – escapes the clamor of the club in McQ leathers, her hazy gaze alight in the city’s glow.Alongside an exclusive preview of the McQ Alexander McQueen campaign, Frank and Brogan talk after-dark antics and party poisons: McQ SS14 Campaign FRANK LEBON What’s your after dark poison? Dark rum...with anything. What do you turn to when the sun starts to rise? A grumpy old man desperate for a greasy spoon. What’s on your playlist the morning after the night before? It has to be Luis Alberto, ‘Del Parana y los Paraguayos’, vol 2. Put the wax on and be ready to make a move by the end of side 2. Where’s your favourite place to hold a party? A rave in the country is always mad, but I have to say my dad’s [Mark Lebon] place aka ©runch. It’s a big open space, and I love a good house party. Get lost in a warehouse rave, or get down low at a grimy underground club? I have a thing for being underground. Rave in dah cave! Who’s your dream dance partner? My friend Tegen Williams or Christopher Walken. What’s the craziest thing you’ve witnessed when the clock strikes 12? Probably New Years Eve in Amsterdam: nothing in particular, but kids and old men alike were shooting fireworks horizontally down small allies. Trying to dodge fireworks when you can’t focus two feet in front of you ain’t easy! The real crazy shit happens later. Your most extreme rave outfit? Full fisherman’s kit: it was a rainy night so kept me nice and dry too, not that extreme though! Fondest memory from the McQ campaign shoot? To be honest...the catering. It was bangin’ and food makes me happy! Brogan Luftus (right) McQ SS14 CampaignShot by Steven Klein BROGAN LOFTUS What’s your after dark poison? Lucozade. What do you turn to when the sun starts to rise? Chris Brown. What’s on your playlist the morning after the night before? Old School Hip Hop. Where’s your favourite place to hold a party? Hogwarts from Harry Potter. Get lost in a warehouse rave, or get down low at a grimy underground club? Get down low at a grimy underground club. Who’s your dream dance partner? Minions! What’s the craziest thing you’ve witnessed when the clock strikes 12? I'm usually in bed by 12 ;) Your most extreme rave outfit? Don't do raves, they only start after 12 - see above ;) Fondest memory from the McQ campaign shoot? Getting to keep my favourite dress from shoot and working with Steven Klein of course!
