Initial reaction:

A Fashion Odyssey: Stefano Pilati's Zegna universe starts here.

Galactic:

A glittery, galactic invite hinted at space themes. Pre show, video of a pulsating, shimmering planet engulfed the backdrop before zooming through galaxies, stars, planets, molecules and earth.

Jurassic:

A primordial vibe drew us back to the beginning of the universe - cardigans had articulated spikes like on the back of a dinosaur and big, heavy boots featured reptilian bumps. Voluminous quilted parkas and bombers were protection from harsher elements, and the use of wools and fox fur felt natural and centuries – millenniums – old.

Time travel:

Models strode past with speed and intent, mimicking the fast-paced backdrop video, which was now travelling through countries around the world.

Colour impressions:

Dark, charcoal suiting, mossy greens and subtle checks created a shadowy show. A burst of light came from a series of camel wool looks, with softly swooping, inbuilt scarves.
