On Thursday, the University of Westminster's 2013 Fashion students had their go at shaking the building to its foundations.Alumni Claire Barrow and Ashley Williams, a year into the industry themselves with coveted Fashion East endorsement, took their seats along with journalists, stylists and the self-proclaimed fabulous to witness everything from caped crusaders, human ring-binders and more than a dash of the folkloric in a show of the scrunched, wrapped and slapped. Our highlights? Grace Cooper's sportswear covered with dangling, danger-yellow threads; Claire Storey's patchwork knitwear, which in her sketchbook she brilliantly imagined Grandad from Only Fools and Horses and Albert Steptoe wearing; swampy crinis by Victoria Rowe and Philli Wood's fluoro pink cable scarves and outerwear.
