After a seven year wait, the London Olympics begin this evening with an opening ceremony kicking off at 20:12. Fashion has got in on the summer of sport with Stella McCartney, Emporio Armani and Prada showing patriotism and designing kits for their home teams; Nike dressing American, German and Chinese sportsmen in their drag-reducing latest, inspired by golf-ball dimples and using materials derived from recycled bottles, and Ermanno Scervino clothing Azerbaijan's athletes.
