Paul Smith took over R. Newbold in 1991 but it sadly disappeared from the UK and instead gained a following in Japan and became massively successful there. Kyle Stewart and Jo Sindle behind Goodhood have got together with R. Newbold on a quest to make mountaineering outerwear look acceptable on the streets in. The puffa, the check and many zips/fastenings are there. However, added to tgese components are unexpected colour combinations and details such as printed logo linings, which gives this collaborative range of jeans, shirts and jackets, extra panache.Available for pre-order on Goodhood.
