Upon deciding to hand over the contents to our readers, as well as fashion, art, and culture enthusiasts across the world, we set up shop with Ebay, and chose Oxfam to benefit from the money raised. The auction runs from November 20-27, 2011. We are auctioning 34 pieces of memorabilia in total, with generous participants ranging from international fashion designers to Dazed’s very own home grown talents. With a well known love of music, it’s no surprise that Gucci’s creative director Frida Giannini decided to donate a very special record from her vast collection: a vinyl edition of famed David Bowie’s 1973 ‘Aladdin Sane’. In her own words: “David Bowie is one of my favourite artists. His songs and this album in particular have been a leitmotif in my life and in my passion for music.” More info on the Dazed Ebay auction HERE Expand your creative community and connect with 15,000 creatives from around the world.READ MOREFrom Lana to Gaga: August Barron curate their ultimate music video nightInside the world of August Barron, fashion’s disruptive design duo Jean Paul GaultierJean Paul Gaultier’s iconic Le Male is the gift that keeps on givingIn pictures: Shalom Harlow’s most iconic catwalk momentsSilver Arrows: Fusing fashion with film noirSo you want to get your hands on Leigh Bowery’s merkin?‘Westwood and Kawakubo are provocateurs’: Inside their powerful new exhibitA look back on Loli Bahia’s best fashion moments Sunrise Angel: Loli Bahia steps out of the shadowsIrish designer Robyn Lynch is riding the ‘green wave’ her own wayDario Vitale has left Versace after 8 monthsThe 2025 Christmas archetype gift guide
