The colourful prints have been introduced to many of Givenchy’s iconic bags such as the ‘Antigona’ and ‘Obsedia’, printed on fabrics such as cotton canvas and matte satin. The oversized digital images of iris, pansy and bird of paradise inject a delicate yet powerful elegance to the line - as seen at the S/S12 show in Paris in October last year. Framed by heavy black boarders embellished with studs and claws the contrast of the strong yellows and oranges of these blooms create a sharpness enhanced by the print’s clean lines. Givenchy is available at Selfridges, Harrods, Dover Street Market and Harvey Nichols in London Escape the algorithm!
