From working the door at Boiler Room events to hosting her own segment on Rinse FM and DJing in her own right, Amsterdam-born, London-based DJ Jyoty has grown into one of the underground music scene's most beloved figures.
Keen to use her platform to give back to her community, she has hosted DJ workshops for women in Calcutta alongside the British Council, and taught young British Asian women looking to break into the music industry. "Passing on knowledge and experience is key to making a real change in music," she says.
