Horoscope June 2023: prepare for sudden bouts of change

With Pluto, planet of power and transformation, stationed retrograde last month you should get ready for spontaneous realisations and moments of upheaval

June kicks off with the Sun radiating in the chatty sign Gemini, as we catapult out of retrograde season, nursing our eclipse hangovers. The versatile sign of the Twins is known for its love of information, gossip and desire for learning. When the Sun is in Gemini, we all become teenagers. We are voyeurs, hungry for experiences that tell an interesting story, rather than provide us with the stability we were seeking in Taurus season. On the 3rd, a fiery full Moon in Sagittarius enlivens our opinions. We are encouraged to inspect our world view, and expand our faith in the unfamiliar. With Jupiter newly in Taurus, we are focused on our mind-body connection, encouraged to build self-worth and hone in on our resourcefulness. War God Mars is blazing through the sign of Leo, boosting our self-confidence and esteem. We are reassessing our personal missions, eager to learn more about who we are.

Pluto, planet of power and transformation, stationed retrograde last month. Prepare for spontaneous realisations, and sudden bouts of change. Pluto regresses back into Capricorn briefly, so we can expect to see a revival of old power systems and hierarchies. Saturn stations retrograde in Pisces on June 17, loosening restrictions and giving us a momentary reprieve from rules. The following day, a New Moon in Gemini encourages us to set intentions to switch things up, and prepare for change.

Our sensitivity peaks when the Sun moves into the soft, intuitive waters of Cancer on the 21st. The Sign of the Crab rules our faculties of empathy and compassion, and we are encouraged to seek safety. We can become hyper-aware of emotional reciprocity, focused on home, family and our early upbringing. This is our call to become more nurturing, as we wade through intensity with increased sensitivity. The Crab offers us momentarily reprieve from the hustle and bustle of the world around us.
