WHAT IS IT? Brand: SitreProduct: Pleasure Boost Oil Price: £48 WHY IS IT SO GOOD? I live in Copenhagen, Denmark, and the rumours are true – Scandinavia is pretty sexually progressive. There are a fair few brands here focused on sexual wellness, and I came across Sitre because a friend recommended trying the sex gel. I’m 30 years old but I still find it lowkey embarrassing to buy a bottle of lube. Sitre’s selection of gels and oils in bougie bottles won me over, though, and I decided to give the pleasure boost oil a go. The formula includes one per cent CBD oil, which is meant to help you relax and increase blood flow. I tried it by myself and the result was wild: longer tingly build-up, stronger orgasm. Also, a lot of lubes and oils include glycerin, which is a problem for people with a vagina because it can cause infections. The oil is vegan and mostly organic, so I had no problems with irritation after using it. I also tried it with a partner and he liked it as much as I did. The oil isn’t sticky and it doesn’t have an overpowering smell, which I’ve found to be a problem with most intimate products as both of those factors can be distracting. We both experienced greater sensation (he wouldn’t stop talking about it), so it made the foreplay last longer and feel more experimental than usual. For anyone who’s down to explore on their own or with others, I’d recommend the pleasure boost oil because it makes intimacy more enjoyable – so, it does exactly what it says on the tin (read: spenny-looking pump bottle). QUICKFIRE QUESTIONS If this product was a song it would be…“I Wanna Be Yours” by Arctic Monkeys. Smooth and sultry. The fictional character who would use this product is… Kathryn Merteuil from Cruel Intentions. It’d suit her risqué attitude and epic bedroom/boudoir aesthetic. If this product was one of the astrological signs it would be… Sagittarius, for sure. The sign that’s always game for an adventure and too hedonistic for its own good.
