WHAT IS IT? Brand: ZiajaProduct: Acai Berry Nourishing & Regenerating Face And Neck CreamPrice: £4.41 WHY IS IT SO GOOD? Over the past few years, I’ve been on a mission to find a moisturiser that is heavy enough to hydrate my somewhat dry skin but does not leave that weird greasy-looking cast that makes me look like a ghost. My latest favourite product is the Acai Berry Nourishing & Regenerating Face and Neck Cream by a Polish brand called Ziaja. I first discovered Ziaja through my best friend Roza, who has been using it since we were teenagers. She brought me a sample a couple of years ago and Ziaja has slowly been taking over my skincare cabinet since. The moisturiser is courtesy of Ziaja’s ‘Acai Berry’ vegan collection, which has several products created to help “tired, dull and sensitive skin”. The acai works as an antioxidant, while the other ingredients such as canola oil, hyaluronic acid, provitamin B5 and vitamin E, help to reduce dryness and give your skin a natural glow. I use it as a nighttime moisturiser and have seen a difference in how my skin looks in the morning. Even if I am still tired, dull and sensitive, my skin most definitely is not! Since I started using the cream almost two years ago, I’ve slowly added a few more products from the line including the Acai Berry Express Face and Neck Smoothing & Firming Serum. Usually, in the morning, I use Ziaja’s Argan Oil Protective Face Cream or the Acai Berry Day Cream with SPF 10, which has a protective and anti-pollution formula perfect for living in a city as dusty as London. Ziaja is fairly similar to most of the skincare brands that I’ve found work best for me in the sense that they are incredibly inexpensive and are usually just found in a European pharmacy. For just the price of one expensive skincare product, you can buy enough products for an entire skincare routine, perfect for your skin and your cozzie livs bank account.
