WHAT IS IT?

Brand: Kjaer Weis
Product: Lush Up Volumizing Mascara
Price: £29

WHY SHOULD I CARE?

My product that I’ve been loving for a while is my Kjaer Weis mascara. Called the Kjaer Weis Lush Up Volumizing Mascara, it’s by far my favourite mascara I’ve used. Before using this product, I exclusively used whatever mascara was cheapest and had the cutest bottle at the drugstore, usually costing about $10. I guess I figured I used many and they essentially all do the same thing, so it didn’t matter! But this was the first time I saw the value in investing in a more expensive mascara.

I got it as a gift from Dermstore (I did a campaign with them last year) and I was so impressed with how conditioning it was! No matter how many times you go over your lashes, it DOES. NOT. CLUMP. I love being able to build and pile on the mascara without it clumping my lashes together and getting hard like so many other ones do. I could be naive because I’d never spent $38 on mascara before but this one is great. It’s my elegant mascara. I also love the container. All the Kjaer Weis products come in these sleek, chic silver containers. Makes me feel real expensive and luxurious.

QUICKFIRE QUESTIONS

The fictional character who would use this is... Madonna’s Marilyn Monroe-inspired persona from the 1991 Academy Awards.

If I could go back in time and give this to anybody it would be... Andy Warhol for sure. Or Salvador Dali.

If this was an astrological sign it would be… Aries sun for sure. The kind of person who acts like they don’t care about anything but simmers with extreme focus and passion under the surface.
