Renowned for her intricate and three-dimensional nail designs that have attracted the likes of Kim Kardashian and Rina Sawayama, the Dazed Beauty Community member has turned her manicured hand to collaborate with the luxury label, A Better Feeling (ABF). Broadening the threshold of collaboration, Oh partners with the London-based company ABF, creating a set of holographic, textured nails to match the brand’s sought after sculpted candle. Encased in a solid aluminium vessel, boasting notes of juniper, jasmine, rose hip, long grass, white amber and fresh moss, the candle marks a gripping approach to collaboration outside of the habitual approach. Founded by Cairo-born designer Xander Ghost in 2018, ABF, a product based company focused on creating functional design that is underscored with optimism and intrigue, the collaboration between both creatives echoes the precedence on visual identity and their desire to create entrancing stories through material language. “Working with nail artists is a medium that allows us to embody each scent visually,” shares Ghost. “We always strive to work with artists that we admire and not be restricted by their practice. We meet most of the artists we work with through our DM, which would never have been possible without Instagram.” The Ginkgo Aluminium candle will be available to purchase online from January 2021.
