Although a new proposal for Hermès, the collection is firmly rooted in the brand’s DNA. Hues have been lifted from the brand’s rich archive of signature silk scarves, their sumptuous leathers and even their iconic orange box. Christine Nagel, the brand’s nose, has been tapped to create the collection’s bespoke fragrance, while Pierre Hardy, creative director of Hermès jewellery and Hermès shoes, has designed the brushed metal packaging. And good news! Not only is this packaging highly Instagrammable - think Mondrian-style colour blocking for the twice-yearly limited edition range and classic black, white and gold for the signature range - they’re totally recyclable, too. “Hermès Beauty is part of who we are,” says the brand’s CEO, Axel Dumas, “a house where everything comes from creation, driven by artisans who seek to accompany the men and women of today with elegance, and with the integrity and authenticity that we represent.” In addition to the 24 shades, the brand will also be launching a lip balm, a lip shine, a lip pencil, a lip brush to apply all these new lip goodies and some luxury leather accessories, too. Well, it wouldn't be Hermes without a bit of leather. The Rouge Hermès collection will be available from 4th March 2020 in selected Hermès stores and retail outlets. courtesy of HermèsExpand your creative community and connect with 15,000 creatives from around the world.READ MOREFragrance wars: Is it rude to wear perfume in shared spaces?Need Halloween beauty inspo?
