Good news for all you ‘riiise and shiiine’ fans out there, a Kylie Cosmetics collection centred around the viral sensation catchphrase could be coming into our lives very soon.

Earlier this month, Kylie Jenner caused an internet storm after she was captured serenading her young daughter Stormi with a sing-song rendition of the phrase during an official tour of the Kylie Cosmetics HQ in California. The moment quickly went viral, racking up one billion Tiktok views and 11 million views on YouTube and becoming an instant meme sensation. 

Everyone from Ariana Grande and Miley Cyrus to Lizzo have since debuted their own versions of the song, and the clip has been photoshopped into The Voice audition scenes, the sun from the Teletubbies, and Disney’s Sleeping Beauty among many, many others. It has also inspired a number of creative beauty looks. 

After releasing a ‘riiise and shiiine’ hoodie last week, Jenner has now filed to trademark the three words for use in cosmetics with the United States Patent and Trademark Office. As the old saying goes, “The Devil works hard, but Kris Jenner works harder.” We’ll be keeping our eyes peeled!
