The gang once came over this town doing perfect fucking nails, said to contain uncanny magic.” Now the full video, from directing duo Bradly and Pablo, is out and it certainly does not disappoint. Chronicling the adventures of Rosalia’s mystic beauty gang, “Aute Cuture” follows the latex-clad women as they open a nail salon in a dusty small town, spreading their otherworldly, baroque manicures to the townspeople. Rosalia then clashes with the Green Bros, two “nasty business associates” with toxic-green hair, and slashes one of their face’s with her perfect golden talons. Truly a feast for the eyes, the nails in “Aute Cuture” run the gamut from Rosalia’s embellished-armour dagger-esque nails to the array of multi-coloured, bejewelled, accessorised acrylics her crew and the townspeople sport. These ornate, sculptural nails could be the work of no one else other than Dazed Beauty Community member Juan Alvear aka Nails by Juan. Juan’s long, spiralling nails question our traditional perceptions of what nail art can be, creating his own surreal and mystical answers. See the fantastical nails for yourself below.
