She addressed Trump and his media “enablers” – which includes the Murdochs, CNN, and FOX – and accused them of holding the public “hostage”. She also said that his politics were making her sick to the “pit of her vagina”. “This is real. We are sick,” McGowan explained. “Living with your daily reign of terror cancer, and it is terror cancer, is something we are unwilling to do for another minute. I do not want to live my life this way. I am a proud AMERICAN & GLOBAL CITIZEN who's [sic] head is bowed to her knees in because she is sickened every day. Because of you. It is NOT most of America who should be ashamed, it is YOU for propagating this propaganda.” Her letter comes days after the Republican nominee made a casual callout to “Second Amendment people” to block Hillary Clinton’s presidential bid – in other words, a veiled request for an actual gun-inflicted assassination of the Democrat. McGowan – who has been vocal about her disdain for Trump up to now – went on to urge those in positions of power to “think differently and to do better.” “We, the public, need for you to look for your humanity,” she added. “It’s that easy to be a better person and to do the right thing no matter the cost. The time is now.” Read her letter in full below: Expand your creative community and connect with 15,000 creatives from around the world.READ MOREWhy did Satan start to possess girls on screen in the 70s?Learn the art of photo storytelling and zine making at Dazed+LabsVanmoofWhat went down at Dazed and VanMoof’s joyride around Berlin8 essential skate videos from the 90s and beyond with Glue SkateboardsThe unashamedly queer, feminist, and intersectional play you need to seeGrime and glamour collided at the opening of Barbican’s Dirty Looks Paris artists are pissed off with this ‘gift’ from Jeff KoonsA Seat at the TableVinca Petersen: Future FantasySnarkitecture’s guide on how to collide art and architectureBanksy has unveiled a new anti-weapon artworkVincent Gallo: mad, bad, and dangerous to know
