The exhibition at Somerset House celebrates 20 years of Dazed & Confused Magazine, Making It Up As We Go Along, curated by Hack and former Dazed photographic editor Emma Reeves, which brings to life the book of the same name, published by Rizzoli and also launched at the event. A glamorous array of guests including Kate Moss, Gemma Arterton, Gareth Pugh, Juergen Teller, Amber Le Bon, Sadie Frost, Tom Vek and Michael Stipe, from the worlds of fashion, music, art and film came together for this epic occasion to celebrate Dazed's 20th birthday. Champagne flowed and guests enjoyed ABSOLUT vodka cocktails including ABSOLUT Swedish Kiss, along with Peroni beer and Ty Nant water, whilst DJ sets came from Seb Chew & Leo Greenslade of Yo Yo and Pam Hogg. Guests were chauffeured in special Mercedes Benz Dazed & Confused 20th anniversary branded cars which contained bumper birthday gift packs including luxury items from clothing label All Saints Spitalfields and products from MAC Cosmetics. The afterparty at Leicester Square's W Hotel gave guests the chance to play on SingStar karaoke, whilst the Wyld Bar was decked out in an army of golden balloons and bespoke cocktails in flow. The event was generously supported by Motorola, with gifts of the brand new Motorola Razr phone featuring a copy of the new Dazed & Confused book. Making It Up As We Go Along: The Exhibition is open from today until the 29th January at Somerset House, London; Admission is free. Escape the algorithm!
