Are you surrounded by talented emerging artists whose work you would love to share with the world? Dazed Club has partnered with The Gallery at Hackney Downs Studios to give an aspiring curator the opportunity to create an exhibition in its space in East London for three weeks from 12 March. In addition to the 620 sq ft space, the selected curator will be supported by the Dazed team in organising a private view for the exhibition, and receive a £1,000 curator fee and a £2,000 budget to produce the show. Dazed’s Executive EditorJack Sunnucks, Art and Photography Editor Emily Dinsdale, and the Dazed Club team will be part of the judging process to select the successful curator. The Gallery at Hackney Downs Studios presents exhibitions by artists working at the forefront of London’s contemporary creative landscape, alongside voices emerging from the wider networks connected to its studio community. Since its launch, The Gallery has hosted exhibitions including Riccardo Dalisi presented by Spazio Leone and Oscar Piccolo; Faye Moorehouse presented by FRMD; Maza.art_’s showcase of Laxmi Hussain, Frankie Thorp, Marcus Aitken, Lucy Mahon and more; Melissa Schriek, Max Miechowski and more, presented by Companion Artists.
