The inpouring of submissions gave myriad glimpses into the year just gone. From sitting in an empty room of a new city to returning to loved, familiar spaces, making new friends and celebrating birthdays with old friends; from elated accomplishments to quiet moments of reflection and reckoning with redirection, the wide range of pictures we received – capturing the big and smaller moments – offered such a multiplicity of perspectives.
