Mysterious mononymous model Lulu defines the look of Raf Simons’ Calvin Klein

LocationNew York, United States

From the first time the public laid eyes on ethereal, doe-eyed model Lulu it was clear she was a bona fide star. The fresh-faced beauty, who bears more than a passing resemblance to a teenaged Kate Moss, made an incredible splash with her first job: she landed on the cover of Italian Vogue in September 2016.

Since then, she has starred as the main model muse of Raf Simons’ first Calvin Klein campaign, captured laughing in front of a Richard Prince piece by photographer Willy Vanderperre. She even opened Simons’ wildly anticipated debut show for the house, later being filmed by fellow Dazed 100-er Julian Klincewicz in a short film for the brand.

Despite her skyrocketing trajectory, it’s surprisingly difficult to find any information on Lulu – a refreshing case of underexposure. Even a handful of snapshots on her modelling agency The Lions’ profile reveal nothing about Lulu’s age or where she’s from. Consider her likely to spark much curiousity among her growing list of fans and the fashion community.
