Madruga: the new electronic festival on the Welsh border

Sign up to Dazed Club for a discount on tickets to this three-day independent festival

This year Dazed Club have partnered with the independent music festival, Madruga. The day-to-night, three-day electronic music festival debuted last year, and is now returning this summer from July 26 to 29.

This year, Madruga is headlined by Joy Orbison. It’s the only intimate show that the electronic music bigwig will play this year and is set to be a very special event.

Another new name at Madruga this year is Anthea, best known for her devotion to spinning and digging out the most exciting sounds on vinyl at events such as Partisan Record showcases. In recent years she has cemented herself as a powerful force in the house and techno scene and is definitely not an act to miss at this year’s party.

Many other big names will be performing, including Shy One, A for Alpha, Anna Wall, Blumitsu, Darwin, DJ ADHD, Dr Banana, KT, Papa Nugs, The Ghost and many more.

With 16 hours of music a day, Madruga is bringing the change we’ve all been dreaming of. A contrast to more commercial festivals, this new mansion party was founded on simple values. Plus, with a pool, hot tubs, yoga sessions, and an onsite pub, it’s a festival like no other.

Tickets go on sale on March 12. Sign-ups open for pre-sale tickets here. You can sign up to Dazed Club here to get an exclusive 35 per cent off tickets.
