Watch FKA twigs and Yung Lean’s lo-fi new video, ‘Bliss’

The clip, directed by Aidan Zamiri, shows the pair cavorting in wedding garb

Swedish hip-hop artist Yung Lean has shared the video for his new song “Bliss”, a collaboration with FKA Twigs.

The video, directed by Aidan Zamiri, opens with Twigs texting Lean, “where r u? X” on a Microsoft excel spreadsheet, a wry nod to Kelly Rowland’s much-mocked video for ‘Dilemma’ (2002). The rest of the video mostly consists of the pair cavorting in wedding garb alongside white horses and a gang of youths on BMX’s.

‘Bliss’ is a little more energetic than Yung Lean’s usual woozy fare; if you squint your ears it could almost be a Grimes track. It’s the first single from his new mixtape, ‘Stardust’ - his first since 2020’s ‘Starz’ - on which he has collaborated with a diverse range of producers, including Skrillex, Jack Donaghue, Whitearmor, Woesum and Ssaliva. He will embark on a Starz/Stardust tour this Autumn, stopping off in London, Manchester and Dublin, along with a number of days in Europe and North America.
