Watch Saweetie and Doja Cat’s music video for new track ‘Best Friend’

The duo drive around in a bedazzled Tesla and have a slumber party in the Dave Meyers-directed video

Saweetie and Doja Cat have linked up for a new song, “Best Friend”, which arrives alongside an accompanying music video.

The Dave Meyers-directed visual sees the pair going shopping, having a slumber party, and driving around in a bedazzled Tesla.

“Best Friend” is the latest track from Saweetie’s upcoming debut album, Pretty Bitch Music, which also includes the singer’s recent collaboration with Jhené Aiko called “Back to the Streets”, a Timbaland-produced track that came out in October.

The first single Saweetie dropped from the album was “Tap In” in June, which went viral on TikTok. The track made its way to the top of the Billboard charts and held the number one spot on the Top Triller US chart for two consecutive weeks.

Pretty Bitch Music has yet to confirm a release date, but it will feature production from Danja, Lil John, Murda Beatz, and more. Saweetie’s debut EP, High Maintenance arrived in 2018; she released the seven-track ICY last year.

Meanwhile, Doja Cat recently teased that she might be collaborating with the likes of Megan Thee StallionAriana Grande, and SZA on her upcoming new album.

She took to Twitter on January 5 to draw attention to the eight people she’s following. “Following them for a reeeeaaaaasssoooonnn 😉 Guess why,” she tweeted.
