Megan Thee Stallion says that Tory Lanez shot her

In an Instagram Live video, the rapper gave her account of what happened the night she was injured and Lanez was arrested

Megan Thee Stallion has claimed that Tory Lanez shot her in a new Instagram Live video, Pitchfork reports.

“Yes... Tory shot me,” Megan says in the video. “You shot me, and you got your publicist and your people going to these blogs lyin’ and shit. Stop lyin’. Why lie?”

On July 12, the rapper was shot in the foot during an incident in the Hollywood Hills. Reports circulated that she had been in an SUV with Tory Lanez when the shots were fired. Lanez was arrested on a felony gun charge. While Megan has talked about the incident since then, she has never previously identified the shooter.

In the new Instagram Live, Megan said that there were four people in the SUV when an argument broke out. After leaving the vehicle, she says, Lanez shot at her while he was still inside the car.

Megan said that the reason she has remained silent about that night was due to the police involvement. “The police come – I’m scared,” she said. “All this shit goin’ on with the police? Police is shootin’ motherfuckers for anything. The police was literally killin’ black people for no motherfuckin’ reason. Soon as the police tell us all get out the motherfuckin’ car, the police is really aggressive. You think I’m ’bout to tell the police that we, n***as, us black people, got a gun in the car? You want me to tell the law we got a gun in the car so they can shoot all of us up?”
