Listen to The Sopranos actor Michael Imperioli’s NTS Radio show

Christopher Moltisanti played an hour-long set featuring Lou Reed, Charles Mingus, Cat Power, and more

Actor Michael Imperioli (AKA Christopher Moltisanti from The Sopranos) has hosted an hour-long show on NTS Radio called “632 ELYSIAN FIELDS”. Inspired by Tennessee Williams’ play A Streetcar Named Desire (the show’s title is a reference to character Blanche DuBois’ final resting place) the tracklist features Charles Mingus, Cat Power, Richard Hell, and his friend, Lou Reed.

The show reportedly came about after NTS Radio reached out to the actor on a whim after he shared an Instagram post last month about My Bloody Valentine’s Loveless. Imperioli has also performed in bands La Dolce Vita and, currently, Zopa, with Elijah Amitin and Olmo Tighe. Last October, he appeared in the video for Holy Ghost’s “Heaven Knows What”.

In 2018, Imperioli released a novel, The Perfume Burned His Eyes, a coming-of-age novel about a teen boy who befriends Reed in the 70s.

You can listen to the show on NTS here.
