Fender offer three months of free guitar lessons amid social distancing

Fender are the latest company offering to help you out during social distancing. The guitar manufacturer are giving away three months of lessons for free to help pass the time, Consequence of Sound reports.

The first 100,000 new subscribers to their Fender Play platform will receive the lessons, which usually cost £9.99 per month, or £89.99 per year (in the US, it’s $9.99 and $89.99). The service offers videos to learn guitar, bass, and ukelele.

“We’re all going to be spending more time inside – so we might as well make some noise,” Fender said in a statement. “We want to do our part to see you through.”

Fender aren’t the only company offering people musical tools during the coronavirus lockdown. Moog and Korg are both giving away their synth apps during this period.
