Watch Kim Gordon bake a Bernie Sanders cake in new endorsement video

The clip lands ahead of Super Tuesday in the Democratic Party presidential primary

Kim Gordon is a vocal backer of Bernie Sanders for the Democratic Party’s nominee for president, and now she’s being a vocal baker of the candidate (sorry).

In a clip titled “What’s cooking, America?”, the former Sonic Youth musician bakes a Bernie cake by adding all of the key policies advocated by the Vermont senator: Medicare for All, the Green New Deal, banning for-profit prisons, cancelling student debt, and more.

The ingredients all get mixed together into a cake bearing the Bernie Sanders campaign logo, after which Gordon declares: “Vote for Bernie.”

Kim Gordon isn’t the only Bernie Bro musician out there. Cardi B, Public Enemy, Killer Mike, The Strokes, Soccer Mommy, and more have all voiced their support for the candidate or played at his rallies.

The video comes ahead of Super Tuesday, in which a large number of US states will cast simultaneous votes for who they want to be the presidential candidate to take on Donald Trump in November. Bernie Sanders is currently leading in delegates, and is polling strongly in delegate-rich Super Tuesday states like California and Texas.

Last week, Gordon added her name to an ‘Artists for Bernie’ campaign. Read about Bernie Sanders’ policy platform, and find out how to volunteer or donate to his campaign.

Revisit our recent interview with the musician here, and watch her cake-baking video below.
