BTS will reportedly join Lil Nas X to perform at the Grammys

According to reports, we might be getting a live remix of ‘Seoul Town Road’

The 2020 Grammy Awards are fast approaching, and according to reports, Lil Nas X and BTS are set for a live collaboration at the ceremony on January 26.

Despite not being up for a nomination themselves, Variety reports that the Korean group will perform the 20-year-old’s hit single “Old Town Road” at the Los Angeles event, alongside the artist himself, Diplo, and Billy Ray Cyrus. All three artists have appeared on various remixes of the song, with the BTS rapper RM featuring on the version named “Seoul Town Road”. Neither Big Hit Entertainment, the group’s record label, or the Recording Academy have confirmed the performance one way or another.

Lil Nas X is the most nominated male artist of this year’s Grammys, receiving six nominations which include, Album of the Year, Best Music Video and Best Pop Duo/Group Performance. The hitmaker will be facing competition from the likes of Lana Del Rey, Billie Eilish, and Lizzo.
