King Krule shares a short film featuring four new tracks

The songs mark the artist’s first release since his 2017 album, The OOZ

King Krule is finally back. Five months after teasing new music, the singer has returned with four tracks and a short film directed by his partner – and mother of his adorable daughter! – Charlotte Patmore.

The 15-minute video, titled “Hey World!”, is the musician’s first release since his 2017 album The OOZ, and features lo-fi footage of Archy Marshall performing against the backdrop of various landscapes, including a snowy field, a power plant at sunrise, and a firework display. The film contains four unreleased tracks, titled: “Perfecto Miserable”, “Alone, Omen 3”, “(Don’t Let The Dragon) Draag On”, and “Energy Fleets”.

The artist has also announced a 2020 spring tour which will see him play venues across the UK, Europe, the US, and Canada, with tickets going on sale this Friday at 10am.

Watch “Hey World!” below, and look back at Dazed’s King Krule Day here.
