Dazed, NTS, Carhartt WIP are throwing a party in Detroit

Come and celebrate the release of "Showing Up Showing Out," our film on the legacy of Motown and the future of Detroit. Oh and Martha Reeves is playing.

Keep November 13 free – we’re hosting the premiere of Margot Bowman and Imani Mixon’s new film Showing Up Showing Out in Detroit.

The unreleased short goes deep into the history of Detroit and the story of Motown through interviews with some of the scene’s contemporary artists, including Martha Reeves and Icewear Vezzo. 

To celebrate, we’ve teamed up with Carhartt WIP and NTS in Detroit to host the premiere of Showing Up Showing Out. On the night, Martha and the Vandellas will be live alongside nascent star-harpist Ahya Simone with Jay Daniel on the decks. And you’re invited.
