Aphex Twin, Kelela, Flying Lotus, and more take part in Warp’s NTS takeover

The three-day birthday takeover includes contributions from Warp artists and a very special Brian Eno and Extinction Rebellion collab

To commemorate its 30th birthday, Warp Records is hosting a takeover on NTS Radio, titled WXAXRXP. The weekend-long event will host over “100 hours of exclusive mixes, live sessions, videos, unreleased music, and archival recordings” across both NTS broadcast channels.

Airing between 21 and 23 June, the takeover includes special sets from the likes of Aphex Twin, Boards of Canada, Flying Lotus, Danny Brown, Autechre, Ryuichi Sakamoto, and more, as well as live shows from Squarepusher, Leila, and Evian Christ.

Tonight’s proceedings kick off with Aphex Twin who will present his one-off 2012 performance at London’s Barbican and his (absolutely bonkers) two-hour set from Field Day in 2017. And with visuals by long-time collaborator Weirdcore, be prepared for some madness.

Elsewhere, Flying Lotus will share a never-before-seen mix, and you can also expect to hear new tracks from Autechre, Kelela, Lorenzo Senni, and more.

Closing the festival is Brian Eno, who will be engaging in a “powerful radio narrative” with climate change activists Extinction Rebellion.

Check out the setlist for this weekend below, and you can tune in to WXAXRXP here.
